SYAMALA EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP

Symala Trust. in memory of the fore fathers of the Syamala family of Ponnakallu Village, Guntur Dist. Syamala Trust offers the Educational Scholarship of Rs. 516 to 2116 and also Silver Medals for the Merit Students studying in different Schools and Colleges from VII to XII classes. This scholarship will commence from the year 2000-2001. This cash award is to support the students financially for their fee & books. Students are selected, based on the highest marks obtained in their respective classes. The fore father of Syamala family has laid the foundation stone of the Village Ponnekallu about 400 years ago. Sri Syamala Mastan Reddy B.Sc. (Agr.) is the father of Sri Sriram Reddy (M.S. Computer U.S.A.), Who is the father of Preetham Reddy. Sri Syamala Mastan Reddy is the Founder and the Managing Trustee of Syamala Trust and Syamala Educational Scholarship.(SES)

OBJECTIVE:

To encourage eduction and to give some financial help for books and fees during their education.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

1) Students who secure highest total Marks in 7th Thru 10th Classes and Intermediate.
2) The students has to continue further studies.
3) Where two students secure equal total marks priority may be considered in other subjects who get highest marks in : 1. Science 2. Maths 3. English 4. Telugu 5. Social Studies.

4) Chairman of Eductional Committee School/ College. (if applicable).

In gratitude and respects towards the Institutions that imparted Eduction for teh members of the Syamala Family, Syamala Trust offers Educational Scholarship to teh following selected Schools and Colleges. The Cash Awards and Medals will be Distributed on every 15th August at the time of Independence Day Celebrations of the Schools and Colleges.
